World’s Largest Motorcycle
It was on a fateful day at a monster truck show in 1990 that the now legendary Dunham first envisioned his one-of-a-kind Monster-Cycle.
Now officially recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s largest motorcycle, Dunham is bringing the Monster-Cycle, dubbed "Dream Big", to the Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show, April 27-28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Half Moon Bay Airport.
Dunham’s enthusiasm for motorcycles, engineering background and metal work expertise were the driving forces behind the creation of his Monster-Cycle.
"The monumental beast that is "Dream Big" is truly mind-blowing," said Dunham. "We’re excited to bring it out to the Dream Machines Show and fire it up for fans," he said.
The titanic, hard-to-fathom, gasp-inducing "Dream Big" is a custom-built motorcycle weighing 6,500 pounds. It is 11 feet tall and 20 feet long with 10-foot wide handlebars and 6-foot tall, 3-foot wide tires.
"Dream Big" will be part of Hot San Jose Nights big display at the Dream Machines Show.
Hot San Jose Nights is the South Bay’s big summer car extravaganza and takes place July 14-15.
